Monday Thoughts
- Crashing headache, all day.
- Carla is my favorite Top Chef Contestant. Goofy and charming.
- The curator at Lacis is the most gorgeous creature I've ever met. We talked at length about high relief embroidery. When I pulled out my Obama cross stitch (I needed more color 666), she folded over laughing which made her all the more mouthwatering.
- Ocean, clean air, smell of cypress and redwoods. The withdrawal is killing me.
- Anyone who finds cats to be stand-offish needs to witness Shred today. She's following me around like a puppy.
- The best Dolores cartoon ever. Thanks, Franklin. Now sell me the original.
- The Satorialist recommended his french doppelganger.
- Beloved second cousin Nancy has apparently baked me all kinds of snacks for Christmas. I just love tiny, bohemian Nancy. I still have a chunk of her fruitcake in the freezer, soaking up rum in it's own little plastic casket. High octane goodness.
- I am still reeling from that last post. Yes, I am in fact so thick that it takes 180 months for me to catch onto an insult by a former beloved. Doesn't mean it hurt any less, but it sure was good to get that out into the Universe.

She is such an affectionate cat! I absolutely adore her for that fact. I was never swapped or hissed at; I was cuddled and loved. It was great. :)
I pulled out a loon cross stitch today that I must finish, if only because I need to finish things I start. Do please post a picture of your stitched Obama.
