Knitters are the best. One of the groups (Lazy, Stupid, Godless) on Ravelry took up a collection for someone's neighbor who was in a tough place. It was really heartwarming to follow. God, I love the internets. California is waiting with baited breath on Proposition 8 ruling from the Supreme Court . (We are very pro gay marriage here at Casa del Leiderhosen.)

It's a red merino/nylon/?... not my typical fiber blend choice, but it was an impulse buy when I thought the dyer had forgotten about an order. It's unevenly dyed with big gaps of white, felted in places and hard to draft. And it's full of yarn boogers that have to be picked out and drift around the house. Nothing like red dust bunnies. Fuck...I got two more stupid ounces of this. On a Happier Note: Knitting Goddess Alisha June has made Daily Candy SF as she is the artist in residence at the Miette's new confisere in the Marina District . This will hopefully improve her sleep schedule.
