I am not Joe the Plumber. I am not Nancy the Librarian, Phil the Postman, Bush the Raw Chaffing Asshole or anything else Palin and McCain have been shouting this last month to pretend they really understand my needs or my America. I am not my job, my PC, my salary, my fiscal/marital/confused sexual-orientation status or even my craft. There is not enough residual trace of me on this planet that qualifies any McPolitician to sit in my kitchen and tell me they know best. Fuck that. I am not my fucking khakis. I defy anyone to define us merely by our employment. And I know how to fix my own damn toilet.
