Brand New Jellyfish!
I am always excited over new beasties, but these are particularly pretty photos of some spectacular cold deep jellyfish finds. Go see the slideshow here . (BBC.com) Short of nudibranches, jellies are the best. So the Julie/Julia movie we liked? Go listen to the Splendid Table Podcast ; Nora Ephron gives a short interview and is perfectly wonderful. Citizen of the planet and beloved younger brother Scott (he also knits) has finally finished his Masters. I would have loved to have been in the room for the French oral exam when he might have said damn well anything, preferably obscene and obscure. Well done, Scott. You made Mum very happy.
